SALT LAKE CITY, UT (WMC) – While the Memphis Grizzlies are still in the middle of their search for a new head coach, they’ve found another summer home for the basketball team.
The Grizzlies will play in two summer leagues again this year. Memphis will be among four teams in the renamed Salt Lake City Summer League, a six-game event hosted by the Utah Jazz. It runs from July 1 to July 3.
Other teams in Utah include the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Each team will play three games as part of a daily doubleheader.
The Grizz will also participate in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League. All 30 NBA teams will play there.
That League runs July 5-15. Both leagues feature rookies, 2nd- year players and selected free agents trying to make NBA or G-League rosters.
